Rabbi Samuel BRANDEIS

R. Samuel BRANDEIS (d. 1628 Prague) (son of Rabbi Simon BRANDEIS and Gitele LOEW), President of Prague Gemelnde, married his cousin the daughter of R. Chajim WAHL (Prague) and Realina. Both are grandchildren of the Maharal of Prague.

R. Simon BRANDEIS (d. 1664 or 1665) married Libele PERLS (d. 1674) daughter of R. Mosche PERELS (Prague). They had ten sons:
- Chaim HaLEVI BRANDEIS
- Leib HaLEVI BRANDEIS (d. 1615 Prague)
- R. Jacob Koppel BRANDEIS HaLEVI married Keila SCHAPIRO/SPIRA (d. 1590).
  - Rabbi Naftali Herz (Cerf) BRANDEIS SEGAL (b. around 1580, d. Uckange/Lothringen) went to Uckange near Metz where he married Hendele FRIEDBERG (Uckange)
