  • Yaltah MENUCHIN (b. 7 Oct. 1921 San Francisco, d. 9 June 2001 London). World famous pianist. Studied Piano starting at age four from Marcel CIAMPI in Paris, then Rudolf SERKIN in Basel, Armando SILVERSTRI in Rome and Carl FRIEDBERG in New York. Royal performance at Windsor Castle in 1973 with her brother Yehudi MENUHIN. A gifted linguist, she wrote a poem a day in one of six languages. Her poetry anthology Malgré l'Espace was published privately at the age of 13. Yaltah married and divorced ROLFE.
