Yicchus Brief

David William Perle sent this the transcript of the lineage that his namesake and great-grandfather William Dav Perhaid Perle left in 1948 to his offspring. The majority of this lineage was written Haim MIRELS for his son Tzvi Hirsh. (See the yicchus brief of his father Gaon Rabbi Aaron Mirelsh: original pages 1, 2, 3 and typed pages 1, 2).

The above record is a translation from the original lineal document in Hebrew.

Note: [1] The Yicchus brief seems to gives an exagerated role to David Perle. David W. Perle writes: While the wording that my great-grandfather left in the brief is high misleading, I've confirmed that he did in fact hold a rabbinical role. The 1849 Kalisz birth record of my great-grandfather's father shows that the newborn's father was "the lower rabbi from Kalisz." Two people provided translations of the rabbi's 1867 death record. One translated his occupation as "cleric" and the other translated it as "a man of God=ecclesiastical." Also, playing with good ol' Google a while back, a translation for some other random marriage record noted the stand-in rabbi as my 3rd great-grandfather, Rabbi Dawid Perle.
